Toyota Land Cruiser Prado

Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is a model designation used in Japan, Pakistan, Australia, South Africa, Middle East, Southeast Asia and Latin America as well as other parts of the world for medium-duty, mid-sized four-wheel drive cars in the Toyota Land Cruiser line. They are produced by the Japanese car maker Toyota Motor Corporation. The car is marketed in many other parts of the developing world, such as the Caribbean and large parts of Africa.

In Europe it is sold as simply the Toyota Land Cruiser LC3, LC4 or LC5 (depending on the generation) or with the number series designation (LC 70, LC 90 and LC 120). In North America it is not part of the Land Cruiser range, being instead sold as the Lexus GX 470, with nearly identical body panels and a V8 engine.

The current Prado is based on Toyota's J150 platform. Previous models were based on the J70, J90 and J120 platforms. All models designated Prado feature front independent suspension, ladder frame and a two-speed transfer case.

The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is available in GX, GXL and VX spec versions. The GX is the entry level model, while the VX is the more luxurious version. In most markets it is available with either a 4.0 L petrol V6 and a 3.0 L Diesel engine. In some European countries there are commercial van variants, based on the short wheel base chassis.

Toyota Allion 2010

The Toyota Allion is a compact sedan sold in Japan by Toyota as designated by Japanese regulations concerning exterior dimensions and engine displacement. The Toyota Allion has a lot of space for the people sitting in the back-seats. It has a youthful smart look as the Allion is marketed towards a younger generation. The first generation Allion is also the basis for the Lexus HS Hybrid. The name is created based on the phrase "all-in-one".

Toyota Avanza

The Toyota Avanza (Daihatsu Xenia build on the same platform ) is a mini MPV designed and produced in Indonesia and also assembled in Malaysia, with supervision from Toyota, who also sells the car under their Daihatsu brand. The car was launched at the Gaikindo Auto Expo in 2003 and sold over 100,000 units that year. The name "Avanza" was taken from the Italian word avanzato, which means "advance".

The Avanza is a new model developed as a low premier MPV to split the Toyota Kijang to two different models; the other being the Toyota Innova, which is of higher-spec and aimed at a higher market.
In addition to Indonesia and Malaysia, the Avanza is sold in Brunei, Lebanon, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Thailand, Philippines, South Africa, Mexico (the only North American country to sell it, although the unrelated and similar Scion xB is sold in the United States and Canada), England (the only European country to sell it, although the unrelated and similar Toyota Urban Cruiser is sold in the other European countries), and China.

Daihatsu Terios

The Daihatsu Terios is a mini SUV, first released in 1997 by the Japanese car manufacturer Daihatsu. The engines are a modified Daihatsu Charade 1.3 litre or kei car 660 cc unit, with constant four wheel drive (4WD) or two wheel drive (2WD), respectively. It has 5-speed manual transmission or 4-speed automatic transmission. The width of the first generation Terios is less than 1500 mm, to fulfil the kei car regulations. Also to meet these regulations, the kei car Terios is shorter, losing the rearmost side window. The second generation of Terios was co-developed by Daihatsu and fellow Japanese manufacturer Toyota.

Suzuki Liana

2010 is a big year for Suzuki, its new medium-sized Kazashi sedan will be here soon but to start the year on a high the face-lifted SX4 has arrived with more than a few surprises.

The Suzuki Aerio (called the Liana (Life In A New Age) in Europe, South Asia and Australia) is a compact car that was built by Suzuki Motor Corporation. It was introduced in 2001 as a replacement for the Suzuki Esteem/Baleno, with a tall 5-door hatchback (for maximum inner room efficiency) and a 4-door sedan body. It featured two different 16-valve gasoline straight-4 engines, with 1.5 L and 1.8 L, this one capable of 125 PS (92 kW; 123 hp) JIS. Production was discontinued in 2007 around the world and replaced by the Suzuki SX-4, except in Pakistan where it is still being assembled by Pak Suzuki Motor.

Models in North America got a bigger and more powerful 2.0 L engine with 145 hp (108 kW). A 5-speed manual transmission was standard with a 4-speed automatic optional. All-wheel-drive was available, but only with the automatic. American Aerios came in two trim levels: the S and GS (2002-2004), S and LX (2005), and Base and Premium (2006-2007). Key changes over the years included an upgrade to a new 2.3-liter 155 hp (116 kW; 157 PS) engine in 2004, a major styling and interior refresh in 2005 (replacing the digital instruments with conventional analog ones), and the standardization of antilock brakes in 2006. Only the Aerio sedan remained for 2007, as the hatchback had been shelved to make room for the new 2007 SX4 hatchback. Likewise, the Aerio sedan bowed out at year's end, making way for the 2008 SX4 Sport sedan. Throughout its run, the Aerio was distinct for being the most affordable car in America to offer all-wheel-drive.

In Europe, where the car was called Liana (an acronym for "Life In A New Age"), it was seen as a more affordable alternative to small family cars or to mini MPVs, introducing a new generation of Suzuki M engines, with 1.3 L and 1.6 L I4 engine. All wheel drive was available on the bigger engine. In 2004 the car was restyled with a look that closer resembled the Japanese version, and also received a Diesel engine, with a 16-valve version of the 1.4 L HDi engine supplied by PSA Peugeot Citroën, capable of 90 PS (66 kW; 89 hp) thanks to common rail direct injection and a variable geometry turbocharger.

The Liana was best known[1] for its appearances in the BBC's Top Gear's Star in a Reasonably-Priced Car segment, as the sedan model was used from its first show until the model's replacement by a Chevrolet Lacetti in the show's spring 2006 season.

The Liana remains in production in Pakistan in 1.3L and 1.6L variants.

The Liana had very poor sales in most former Yugoslav countries and Hungary.

Maruti Wagon R 2010

New Maruti Wagon R 2010 hits the Indian market with great pomp and show as the newest member of the New Maruti Wagon R 2010 A2 segment. Decked up with a mighty and highly efficient 998 cc engine and the award winning superior suspension technology, this car is all ready to hit the brass tracks this summer. This new iteration of New Maruti Wagon R 2010 witnesses an increment in the length of the car by 75 mm and slight modification in the wheel base which is now the longest wheelbase for New Maruti Wagon R 2010 (2400 mm).

Reportedly, the new Maruti Wagon R 2010 is the blood brother of the Maruti Wagon R, which has recently hit the markets of Japan. The New Maruti Wagon R 2010 has got a newly casted chrome lid and a wrap it all around style of tail lamps. However, the other significant changes in the car are the roof styling and the stop lamp which has received some last minute touches from the Maruti Wagon R designers to make sure the car looks better than its predecessor model. It's evident that the new iteration of Maruti Wagon R shall stand to face stiff competition coming from Ford Figo and Chevrolet Beat as these two cars fall in the same range of New Maruti Wagon R 2010.

New Maruti Wagon R 2010's trump card obviously lies in its K-series powerful engine which ensures a great drive. The displacement is down to 998cc which can be the turn off factor. The 2010 New Maruti Wagon R 2010 shall be available for purchase in a range of several different colors that includes Midnight Black, Blistering Grey, and Superior White, Fire black Red, Baker's Chocolate, Silky Silver and Breezy Blue.

Mauti - Alto 2010

The Maruti A-Star isn’t exactly flying out of Maruti Showrooms. A big reason for this is the little boot that the A-Star comes with. Hence, Indian families haven’t really warmed up to the A-Star although the Indian youth have been impressed with the A-Star’s nimble dynamics. Now, Suzuki has previewed the redesigned 2010 Alto at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show even as the older Alto is completing it’s first anniversary.
